Ok, OK, I get it……me too! What’s up these days with the puffy eye syndrome?? Are we all allergic to spring?
Well the bad news is that at this time of year, many of us DO suffer from allergies which can cause puffiness no matter what you do to try and alleviate it….OY already right? How-EV-er, the good news is that there are several home remedies to help with this very common (and unfortunate) problem.
Here are a few of my tricks that you can try.
For a quick fix, apply a wet warm chamomile tea bag on each eyelid – this may help reduce some puffiness. If you have more time I highly recommend you take a washcloth and soak it in chamomile tea, then apply the warm washcloth to your eyelids for an immediate decrease in puffiness.
My last tip, if you like to indulge in sparkly cocktails…oh this is so sad I can hardly get the words out….You might want to take a break from that for a teensy while. In general, they say that alcohol tends to make your eyes look puffy and sleepy…
