Rock your inner '70's Diva and donate to Cancer Research

June 1, 2011

My Jing Ai cosmetic line is a tribute to my grandmother Rose, who died of cancer when I was only 13. Jing Ai means Pure Love, and that’s what I got from my grandmother every day of her life. So when I have the opportunity to help those with cancer, I gladly do so in honor of her memory.

And, when I can combine fashion with honoring my grandmother and others with cancer, my heart skips a beat. I am uber-inspired by these chic silk head wraps by Tibi. These head scarves aren’t just the easiest, quickest way to brighten up your wardrobe; they’re a great way to help brighten up the lives and possibly the future of cancer patients. Here’s why!!

Tibi donates 100% of the proceeds from the sales of these scarves (which are this season’s fashion steal at $75 for the hippest accessory and charitable donation rolled into one) to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Pediatric Cancer Care and Research. Pretty cool, huh? You get to combine your passion for fashion and your passion for helping others.

The groovy patterns on these silk head wraps were chosen from Tibi’s archives of cherished prints. With eight to choose from, you know you want to grab up more than one of these scarves. Just picture yourself in a scarf wearing the retro-1970’s fashions that are so hot this year.

Wrap one of these do-good scarves around your head when you’re wearing a maxi dress or hip jumpsuit, throw on the biggest framed sunglasses you’ve got in your collection, rock a pair of platform heals, and no one will look more like a smokin’, retro-glam rock star than you……..guaranteed!
