Q: What is the best shampoo for my over dry hair?

A: If you’re like me and make a trip to the spa or salon every six weeks for a-little-touch-up, you may find that your hair is a little dry or over processed. If that is the case you need to use a sulfite-free shampoo on your lovely locks.

I’ve found a sulfite-free shampoo that I just LOVE, and it’s repairing my hair one day at a time. It’s called Wen by Chaz Dean, and it’s a great all-in-one process. There’s no need to use both shampoo and conditioner. Just apply Wen to your hair and shampoo as usual and rinse. You will love the results.

Summer is particularly rough on processed hair. Remember if you go to the pool or beach to wear a hat to protect your hair from sun damage. Another trick that keeps chlorinated pool water from damaging processed hair is to always wet your hair under the shower first before jumping in the pool. The chlorine won’t soak as easily into your hair if it’s already wet.  Told you I’d give away all my secrets!
