How can I prevent split ends?

September 15, 2011

Gosh, don’t we all need to know this?  When you get out of the shower after washing your hair never towel dry your hair – meaning don’t scrub it to death ok? Just lightly dry your hair and then try to let it air-dry a bit.  And always opt for a wide-tooth comb when brushing wet hair.

Did you know that after you wash your hair it is 25% more elastic and more vulnerable to damage?  Try to avoid using heated appliances on a daily basis like blow dryers, curling irons and flat irons……This can damage and dry out your hair for sure.

And of course, always trim you hair every 6 to 8 weeks, and never use rubber bands as this will pull your hair out and break it for sure.

If you keep this routine going you will notice an improvement in the condition of your hair over a few months……..just in time for the holidays!
