Organic Garden To Go

October 6, 2011

Growing plants in containers can be a perfect way for gardeners who have limited space to be creative.  On the other hand, if you have an over-sized garden you may appreciate the flexibility of growing organic plants in pots.

You can brighten up your deck with colorful flowers, grow your own veggies or create a super chic rooftop garden.   Unlike when something is planted in the ground, this give you the freedom to move the containers around to get needed sunshine or bring them inside if they need protection from unseasonable storms.

You don’t even need to go out and buy something (although that is fun too).  Be creative and search for something in your garage, attic or basement.  Any old watering can, old pair of boots, or eclectic item will do…  Happy Gardening!
