Q: How can I prevent my hair from getting split ends?

A: The easiest way to prevent split ends is to get your hair snipped every 8 weeks. In between those regular trims, wash your hair only 4 times a week, stay away from the heat (blow dryers, curling irons, straighteners), and say bye-bye to chemically processing your hair.

And, if we were all 8 years old, we could do that – no problem!  But if you’re like me, you’re fond of playing with the texture and color of your hair. I have no intention of saying bye-bye to my blonde locks. I do have a secret for taming the split ends that that can come from the abuse I put my hair through, though.

Morocan Oil works wonders. I’m living proof. Since being introduced to this organic oil at a beauty event I attended, I’ve been using it on my hair before I blow dry and again after I use my flat iron. It takes away the dreaded frizzies and makes my hair look smooth and soft.

Ask your local salon if they have Moroccan oil or order it online, and see what it does for your tresses.

Oh, and it’s not just for hair. If you have sensitive skin that gets irritated after shaving, rub a little into your skin to sooth it and give it a beautiful glow.
