My Pics For Stocking Stuffers

December 13, 2011

Kids aren’t the only ones that rip open all of their presents and then give a little sigh when they realize there are no more under the tree.  How fun is it then, to remember there’s also a stocking to open?!

Admit it. If you celebrate Christmas, you get all sorts of giddy when you realize there’s still a stocking waiting for you with a few small trinkets. I know I do. If you’re like me, you like your stocking to be stuffed with a few things that will help pamper you after the hustle and the bustle of the holiday has finally come to a stop.

Santa, if you’re reading this, I’ve got some ideas for terrific stocking stuffers that will satisfy all the eco-minded girls on your list.

Hand in Hand Sustainable Suds – This eco-friendly bar soap has natural ingredients, but that’s just the beginning of the sustainability cred these sudsy stocking stuffers boast. They’re made with sustainable resources that have been harvested ethically so both the people that harvest them and the land they come from are treated with respect. And, for every bar purchased, Hand in Hand donates a bar that just might save a child’s life.

Mighty Mint Urban Garden Bar – Real mint grown in urban gardens is steeped directly into dark chocolate made with natural ingredients. This is a totally grown up chocolate bar that’s meant to savor. Five percent of the sales of these bars gets donated directly back to the urban gardens to support education programs for inner city youth.

Organic Cotton Throw – If you need something that will really stuff a big stocking, one of these throws will really bulk it up. The throw comes in a variety of pretty, girly colors and there are fun, playful pom-poms at the edges.

Apple & Bee Organic Silver Make Up Bag – This pretty, small bag will hold your make up essentials inside a bigger bag, but it’s cute enough to be used on it’s own as a small clutch.

Jing Ai Eye Paint Mascara – If I didn’t already have easy access to this mascara from my natural and organic cosmetic line, I’d love to find some in my stocking on Christmas morning. It makes any girl’s lashes look thick, healthy, long and flirty while nourishing them.

What do you hope Santa will stuff your stocking with this year?
