Dark Chocolate!

Q. Is dark chocolate good for me?
A. Dear chocoholic sister, you are definitely on to something. There are powerful flavonels (antioxidants) in dark chocolate that can improve your health inside and out. The flavonols are both heart-healthy and skin-healthy. Talk about perfect super food.

Still, you can’t eat just a steady diet of dark chocolate. A little bit each day is all you need and the darker the better. Choose organic dark chocolate bars with at least 70% cacao in them and eat an ounce a day. Or use dark chocolate cocoa powder to make yourself a decadent hot chocolate.

Whether you eat or drink your dark chocolate, isn’t wonderful to know that you can have you chocolate and eat it, too, guilt-free every day!
