I happen to know that many of you lovely ladies prefer to get your bodies waxed so you can keep yourself fresh and clean all year round. Don’t you wish you didn’t have to go through all that pain associated with waxing to look so good? I have a few tips to make waxing slightly more bearable.
- First of all, always schedule your appointment between 3 and 5 pm. Amazingly, this is the time your body has the highest threshold to pain. (I bet you didn’t know that.) Got that girls? No more early morning appointments for waxing.
- Next, pop an aspirin or ibuprofen 45 minutes prior to your waxing. That will calm your body down and help with the pain. Of course, only do this if you bod doesn’t have reaction to either of these painkillers.
- Finally, don’t wear tight clothes or work out right after the service because your skin will be extra sensitive to sweat, bacteria and chafing to your skin… ouch!
