A. It’s so fun to change up your look without having to wait for your hair to grow, isn’t it? You can go for synthetic hair extensions that you can put in and remove yourself, or you can go for more natural human hair extensions from the salon. Whether you have synthetic or natural hair extensions, here are few do’s and don’t’s for caring for your faux locks.
Wash your hair daily, or as often as you normally would.
Style it with your preferred method – blow dryer, curlers, etc.
Keep up your regular appointments with your stylist – at least every three months – to have the extensions redone.
Don’t condition the extensions at the root or it can become soft and slide out.
Don’t brush harshly because you can loosen the extension.
Don’t be afraid to change the length of your hair as often as you want. It’s up to you, girlfriend.
