Histoires de Parfums 1969

February 5, 2013

One of my favorite, maybe even my all-time favorite parfum ever, is Histories de Parfum 1969. It’s absolutely fitting that I tell you about this feast for your senses right before Valentine’s Day because this parfum is described as having “the carnal sensuality of a voluptuous bunch of spices” and is “tinted with eroticism that the mythical year of 1969 evokes without a blush.”

It’s musky with hints of chocolate, cardamom, clove, peaches, and even a bit of coffee, and it’s simply an amazing scent. Angelina Jolie has said this is her favorite fragrance, and you know she’s one woman gravitates toward the erotic, sensual and sexy.

Two ounces of this exotic scent is $125, which isn’t a bad price for something this perfect. But, I’m going to let you in on my little secret. When I was in NYC doing the Jing Ai Trunk Show for Henri Bendel, I discovered they carry a small 14 ml roller ball bottle of Histories de Parfum 1969 for $36, and I just picked up another bottle on a recent weekend jaunt up to the city. I wanted to make sure I’m stocked up for my Valentine’s celebration.

If you’re fortunate enough to be in NYC anytime soon, pop into Bendels and grab this parfum before Valentine’s Day. Then wear it on when you celebrate love because you know that if you’re “tinted with eroticism,” you are going to drive your man insane. You (and he) will not be sorry you invested in this amazing parfum.

Pure Love Grows XOXOXO
